Before and After Idea on my Bedroom?

Do you think it's a bad idea to move a desk into the bedroom?

• I need to move my desk soon out of our extra bedroom so we can start decorating it for my daughters nursery. I have two places I can put it either in our bedroom or in the garage that we turned into my husbands "man cave". So I dont really want to put it in the garage since I dont think I would go out there to use it and I dont want to take up alot of space out there since my husband has really made it his own. The problem is I dont know if having a desk with bills and eveything in the bedroom is a good idea, I've heard you're supposed to keep it stress free in your bedroom. I could use another opinion:)

  Well you stated two options neither or them, are really what you would like. So, if you still want to keep the desk, it seems depending on it's size, the bedroom, is the best place for it. Yes, the bedroom should be stress free, so it would mean, you just use it, when you have to, and make sure, when you are done, working there, it's all neat and tidy, so when you do go to bed, it won't be covered with unfinished work. No fair, checking out my overladen desk, I have a den, lol It would be perfect, if you could set it up in hubby's man cave, if you can set up some sort of screening around it. So it's like a little cubicle you can use, to pay your bills, write letters etc. One other suggestion is to sell the desk, and look for a smaller, more decorative desk. One that can be be closed up, like in a roll top desk, or one, with a fold out flat table, that can be a desk, but can be lifted up to hide all that paper work.
