How to decorate a tiny room?

  • My family and I recently got a three floor condo but the floors aren't spacious at all. Especially the bedrooms. My room is second biggest or in our case second tiniest. I would like to theme my room but I have no clue how. If it helps Im really into photography, music, skeletons, cities, and Tim Burton movies. All of my furniture is red, white, and black. It would be awesome if any of you could give me some ideas or websites on where I can get stuff to decorate my room. Im painting the walls pure white and painting the molding bright red.

    The white walls are a good idea, also add a wall of mirrors that will make the room appear larger right off the bat. you can also extend the appearance of the room my not covering the windows, use a shade for privacy and then use a swag.

GREAT COLOR CHOICES!! Try putting up small posters of the city to give it a vintagy look...DONT USE BIG THINGS TO ACSESSORIZE!!! it will make the room look WAY smaller

mirrors make rooms seem bigger. Also I wouldn't use alot of black furniture. Dark colors make rooms look smaller. Instead try lighter furniture and darker accesories. I wouldn't theme a room. If you want to then go ahead but to me it seems a bit cheesy. What I do for my room is take/buy black and white photos of NYC or Chicago or any other city and put in a black picture frame and hang it. Also you can get black shelves or they have these shelves that are actually squares. I got black ones from the container store not too long ago. Good luck :]

on one wall you should make a photo collage. on another, you should paint names or cd covers of ur favorite bands/singers. on the ceiling, paint skeletons and skulls, on another wall paint the city skyline. and on the door, paint the cover of ur favorite tim burton dvd

you can hang pictures up of your favorite music artists or just pics w/ ur friends. and u can get the small bean bag chairs to lounge on in the color red white or black, or put up some funky color lights. it would look awesome.

accessorize with tiny accessories, that's the best I can come with, or just small furniture, which doesn't look too good in my case, sorry I wasn't much of a help

U can put up posters of cities, Listen to ur fave mmusic,, really just put up lots of posters.
