How can I redecorate my room really nicely?

• How can I redecorate my room really nicely? I'm redecorating my room and i'm probably going to get a really dark purple fitted carpet and curtain's,a white high sleeper bed with a desk,bookshelf and little drawer thingy underneath and yeah that's basically it.Anyway I need a colour for the walls and a bedding idea.I don't really want anything else purple so should I simply paint the walls white?.For the bedding i'm thinking a black and white motive maybe black stars on a white background.......... Anyway I need ideas for the bedding and walls and maybe where to get the stuff it should be a shop in ireland or a website that delivers to ireland and also what accessories should I get for my room maybe black or white beanbags? thank you very much
