Organizing a teen room in a cute way?

Room Organizing/ Decorating Tips?

• I am looking for some DIY tips on decorating and organizing my room. Is there a cute way to organize lots of papers and school work? What about lots of shoes or purses? Or easy cute lighting? Makeup organization? Decorating a plain mirror? Or any other cute ideas would be amazing. Or if you know of a website with ideas that would be great!

  i love baskets and hat boxes for storage- there both attractive and functional. i have several canvas lined baskets that hold my purses, make up, nail polish, hair & beauty products. i have four really pretty hat boxes in two sizes that hold my scarves, hats & gloves. (the canvas lining in my baskets match the design on my hat boxes so its a really uniform pretty look) i have stackable shelves for my shoes (you can add as needed) and my boots (i lay my boots on their side). bookcases or shelves is great to line your purses on as well as setting your baskets and hat boxes on. (a basket would be great for your papers and school work and large baskets look good setting on the floor too, i have one for our newspaper and magazines) i store all like items together and this makes looking for things quick and easy. (when i want to polish my nails-i go to the basket that has all of my nail supplies). organization is key and makes the most of your space-adding your own personal touch will give your room style. something else i recently got was three really pretty framed cork boards-i plan to use them for photographs but, these would also be great for reminder notes, concert/movie tickets, cards, and pictures from magazines of some more decorating ideas. (this would be an attractive way to keep all of those little things at hand that normally may be scattered and lost). i hope these ideas inspire you-have fun. ,
