How can i get black poster paint off my walls?

• i stupidly painted black poster paint on two of my walls and then painted murals over the top. i now am planning to paint my walls cream. there is wallpaper underneath the paint, so i though i can just steam off the paper and it will be fine. wrong. the black poster paint has liquidised and has began to drip all down my wall and all over my floor and ive just burnt my palm with the steamer. what else can i do to fix this? help me!

  Go to Home Depot and pick up these things, Dif, in liquid form A wall paper removal tool, it penetrates the covering to let the Dif work A scraper. A big yellow sponge in the tile section First use the wall paper removal tool and cover the entire wall with the little holes it makes Then, use warm water with the Dif and sponge down the wall. Now, start scraping, carefully. Repeat those steps until you have all the glue off and have the old surface back. If you don't get all the glue off, the new paint will not stick Let me know how it goes, @AielloInc
