How to redecorate a new room?

How do i start to Redecorate my Room?

• i want to remodel my room when i say this i mean get new carpet new closet door new furniture for my bedroom move things around a bit i don't have a closet i use containers have been using containers for a while now i have a closet but its full of my decreased grandmothers stuff i took her room i have a queen size bed but just want to Move things around and paint my walls and get stuff remodeled i just don't know where to start or how to start my dad knows about construction and all that but he really isn't in the picture he said he will help but what are the steps to remodeling

  Well, i'm pretty much facing the same problem too. You should start with the wall color. This helps to pick out what colors you want all your furniture and other stuff to be so the colors wont clash. After, you should decide on the floor. You should choose a color that would look nice with your walls, I would go with a wood floor only because they look nice with pretty much any color wall. After, You should plan out where your going to put your basic stuff. (bed,dresser,etc.) Once you have that all figured out you need to find what color you want your furniture to be including your bedspread. After you've figured out how you're going to handle the big stuff,it's time for the fun part! You pick out cute fun things you can put in your room like lamps and posters and whatever else you can think of, be as creative as you like. The color for the little things usually doesn't matter. You might want to expirement on where you put the little things so you can see where they look best at. Hope I helped!
