If you still have the option available, switch between "timeline" and the old type and see which you like better. Find pictures that you like of yourself, friends, scenery, etc, and tag yourself in them - these will show on your page. Post links to interesting sites, and upload nice pictures. Add friends who post nice stuff. Dump ones who don't post stuff you like.
