What would be the best name for interior design business?

Is this a good name for an interior design business?

  • so i've spoken to many people, and they told me the best thing to do when choosing a name for an interior design company is to use your own name then put interiors/decorators next to it. so my name is Hanan. do you think it sounds good? it's an arabic name, so i don't really know how others perceive it. do you think it's catchy? Hanan Interiors Hanan Decorators Or HS design (my intials) or i dont mind using my mothers name. Dales interiors Dales Decorators. DY Design (mothers initials.) i love my mom, and she;s been my inspiration. Which one do you think is catchier?

I would suggest Dales Decorators because of the fact that it rhymes and when people look it up in any sort of directory, it will be closer to the top of the list than 'H' will be. This is important because research shows that many people stop reading down lists after a very short time, and so you'll get a better chance of being picked! The rhyming makes it easier for people to remember. The designer tag confuses people - you could be designing anything - be more specific if you want to use that tag. Good luck with the business.

My first choice would be D Y Designs. Just sounds like a professionally run operation. Dales Decorators gets second vote. Still sounds good and is catchy, just sounds a little less professional. Which isnt ALL bad either. The name to me would seem to say a lower price for your services which may call out to a larger group of people.
