How good is cold laminating for posters?

Will laminating ruin my poster?

I got a poster from a concert I went to a while ago. I've been meaning to laminate it and while I was looking for places online to go to I read on another yahoo answers question that laminating a poster can ruin it in 5-10 years. I've never heard that laminating posters can ruin a poster/picture and I couldn't really find anything about it online so I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about this being true or not~ If it helps this is what my poster looks like except mine is autographed. http://www.twitpic.com/7j6ejx

i would try to frame it in a poster frame. it will protect the poster and you still won't have to worry about it getting ruined!

I would frame it in a non-glare glass frame. This is the most practical way. Jo Ann
