How long does it take to press/dry flowers?

A bed of flowers ..... how many flowers approx. does it take to make a big heart of red roses on a bed ?

I'm soooooooo excited to do it one day ... to my significant other :D so i wanna know how many flowers shall i get ... approx. ?

How big are you thinking, and would it be solid and filled in, or just a rose outline? I don't know how to work out the area of a heart shape :-) An open rose is about 7.5 cm, though, if that helps!
