could you paint your furniture? or maybe you could embrace the baby girl so much that it becomes a little freaky/punk...like baby doll heads everywhere, maybe framed doll dresses on the walls instead of pics...?

Repaint, but don't go a dark color. If you live somewhere it gets hot in the summer, dark blues, purples, or blacks make your room seem like an oven. Speaking from experience there. Go a pastel maybe? Like think Easter egg colors. That's what I plan to do next summer. These blue walls are like mirrors and aluminum foil.
