What is the qualification for being an IKEA designer?

I need a kitchen designer specialist here...im trying to design with IKEA?

• Im trying to order and create my kitchen on Ikea andim going to have 9 foot ceilings so i want to cabinets real high ....like to the ceiling. just for the look not really the use as i know its kinda hard to use that high. However the options in height dont seem to work right. I am starting with a built in unit ...pantry style that is for a microwave built in.....its either 80" or 88" . then to put another cabinet stacked on top i look at the wall cabinets and they all come in 30" height! well 80 plus 30 is 110 so it dont fit! next i tried to just go with like a fridge top cabinet at a height of 24" so that worked until i noticed that the minimum width those come in is 30"...well the built in unit(pantry) for a microwave is 24" wide....honestly you wouldnt want it wider with a mic in it. what the heck can i do to have a microwave in the kitchen and still get that tall look?? without using that cheesy cabinet with a shelf hanging down for the mic!

  I'm going to look at IKEA at get back to you. That site is hard to browse for cabinet sizes. For a 9' ceiling you want your cabs to end up at about 105" and use trim to get to 108" Neither your ceiling or floor will be level and this will give you room for shimming. IKEA seems to be in metric. For American Standard, I would use and 84" oven/micro cab with a 21" high cab of the same width stacked. You could use a 90 and a 15. These are the typical tall heights of American cabinets. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
