Where can I find this wallpaper?

Where can I find dark wallpaper for walls, not computer screens?

  • Google searches are driving me nuts. I am making a dollhouse for my daughters and their Monster High dolls. I want a gothic, film noir type of wallpaper. It has to be super tough because my girls are rough on their things (read: clumsy) and my son is a tornado trapped in a 3 year old's body, so tissue paper or scrapbooking papers probably won't work. Where can I find edgy, dark wallpapers or samples? Other ideas for wall treatments? Spraypainting over lace?

My daughter asked me for such a thing when she got tired of her "baby" room. I hesitated putting on wallpaper. And found some painting techniques (Benjamin Moore) can simulate wallpaper, that way you can put on the wall the type of painting appropriate for the usage. Base was pale grey and that color remains for ceiling and top of the walls. Then I applied a mix of aqueous varnish and black paint using some cloth and made my own pattern on the grey walls (It took more than a week to dry off completely though). I contrasted with white trims. Surprisingly this is a light room. btw, since you feel like travelling, why don't you come in Canada too ?
