I live in 1 bedroom apartment it's soo small i dont have room to put cleaning things like vacuum, floor cleaning stuff, mops, dusting stuff in the closet. can it be with the food?? My closet is in 2 sections.. one hav shelves the other have a rack for hanging coats with a shelf above it. There are 5 shelves in the other half. right now i have vacuum, basket with spray, floor cleaning stuff on window clean, on floor... above.. papertowels, not food stuff. but i would like to have food in there can food go on top shelves .. I dont have a cabinet under sink as i am in an wheelchair apartment unit that do not have a tub or cabinets. I am not in a wheelchair, but i am in it. No room in bathroom for cleaning stuff except next to the toilet? should i put cleanign stuff there ?? rather than inthe pantry with the coats, food, vacuum? or should the food stay in kitchen cabinets? The pantry closet is a few feet from the kitchen the door that goes out to the hall way is between the pantery door and fridge.. this is a small apartment!! any ideas. or should the pantry really be for bath towels, cleaning stuff, bathroom stuff not for food? my bedroom have a closet with shelves. should i use that for the cleaning stuff instead?? what i mean cleaning stuff like Mr clean bottle clorox for the floor dust rags and swiffter things windex for the window armstrong for floor zoute for laundry, and tide for laundry where should all those go?? bottom of pantry okay with food above like cereal, oatmeal, soups, tunafish mayo, ketchup, can food etc... or should those cleaning things be in the bedroom closet with my books, stuff animals thats in a bin, stuff in bins, not just clothes but other stuff.. i need help figure out where things be. My father said batteries should not be in the kitchen with the food. so i had to move batteries to my desk with books and stuff.. as i dont know where batteries can go if i should put it with the cleaning stuff.. this is a small place with not much storage space.

Answer:
Yes, keeping them on the floor should be fine. That way, they can't accidentally leak onto the food. If you have no cabinet space under sinks and such, why not get a rolling cart with drawers. I have one that's about 2 1/2 feet high with three drawers. You can roll it into the empty space where the cabinets should be and just roll them out when you need something.

Any foods in cans, bottles, or jars should be completely fine. So long as you keep the caps on the cleaning supplies most other things will be fine too.
