What are the original indo rollers covered with?

Does anybody know how to clean a microfiber sofa?

  • I have a microfiber sofa and love seat, and it is a magnet to everything that is in the air, this sofa is covered with lint, dust , pet hair, etc.... and it full of static. I have tried everything to clean it, vacuum, soft clothes, dryer wipes, static guard, sticky paper (Pet hair or lint rollers) nothing gets the sofa clean. Can you help me? cafemom927

I take a plain white washcloth, ( the terry kind, like you use in the shower )....wet it....wring it out well......and scrub the @#$% out of it.....first in one direction...then opposite. it's ok to get the couch a little wet...just not to soak it......just plain water has worked great for any stain I've had so far...including coffee, soda and most anything else you can dish up. It helps to "pull" the fabric off the padding a little to scrub out tough stains. I have two BIG dogs, and a 2 yr old live-in grand daughter. my couch looks good.......

yeah i know i use to hate to clean mine, that is when i use to have it. i use to use a damp wash rag. yeah i know that there is a cleaner for microfiber tho my friend had got it when she bought her sectional for free . try searching the internet.

Use rubber gloves, put on a pair of rubber gloves brand of gloves does not matter preferably Playtex. then run your hands over the sofa. Or wipe it down with damp sponge. There is a rubbery sponge that can be used especially for this but I don't remember the brand name, check the fabric stores like Jo-Ann, Hancock etc. they carry special tools for cleaning certain type of fabric's. Good Luck

try getting a grounding cable and attach it to something metal on the frame of the furniture and then down to something solid on floor, past the carpet and into the wood or concrete or what ever is solid and connects to the foundation below. that way the static has a chance to discharge from the furniture and to the ground. and thus helping to reduce its attraction of the particles. like the dust, lint, and hair. other than that maybe some sort of cover, but that defeats the purpose of having micro fiber covered sofa. good luck hope that helps.

Wetting a wash cloth will also stop the static that is holding everything to the fabric. If it has ridges use a brush to wipe down into the grooves. Wipe it down & drag the wash cloth or wet brush in a row or line straight down to edge of seat. Stop & repeat right next to where you were, stopping each time at edge of seat. When whatever accumulates at he edge can be vacumed up when it is dry( you may have to help pull it up into the vac hose). Repeat on sides & bottom working up to edge.
