How to get nail polish out of a blanket?

It is my great great grans and it was very expensive and my mum warned me not to get a slight mark on it! She is very strict as well! I was painting my nails yesterday and while making my bed just there I noticed bright red nail polish on it, it's a bright white blanket! Its in all the cross stitches and it has this weirs square pattern it's not fluffy or anything and I luckily have this fluffy dog blanket at the end of my bed to cover it and that has nail polish on it but I'm not fussed about that! I've tried nail polish remover and hair spray and hot water but nothing! I can't buy anything like paint stripper etc so any ideas? thanks

I am sorry to tell you but you will never get nail polish out of any material.There is absolutely nothing you can use or buy that will help......................

Soak it in nail polish remover for an hour at least. Do this by keeping the damaged area consistently damp with it. After an hour+ , blot it with a cloth covered in warm water.
