How does Vanish Stain Remover remove stains?

Can I use SHOUT stain remover to REMOVE BLOOD STAIN?

  • my friend left a little stain from her monthly visitor on accident. i used cold water to remove it, which did a pretty good job but my next move wasnt so smart, i blow dryed it. and now its a little orange/ hardly noticeable but still you can tell. should I use shout to get it out.....this stuff....... http://www.shoutitout.com/clean-stains-home.aspx?box=0&tab=trigger or would it ruin it cause i dont have hydrogen peroxide and i am afraid that would bleach it anyways.

  • Answer:

are you sure you didn't just murder someone?!

never ever heat a stain it will set it, seriously though shout it out let it sit, shout it out again let it sit for 24 hrs it will come out. pst...no heat on stains next time, or try a mr. clean magic eraser they take EVERYTHING out. Also never use hot or warm water on blood, it will set the stain, you were right to use cold water on suede stick with the mr. clean magic eraser and cold water and elbow grease

Use ZOUT gel but if you can't find that, get the spray bottle. Put just a dab on it, let it set for about a minute, then take a damp cloth and it will come right up. I did the same thing (as I have horrendous periods!) and I can't swear by this product enough!

Blow dryers and clothes dryers bake stains in. Try soaking it in warm water with Tide and Oxy-clean. Leave it is the soak water for several hours, then wash as normal. If that doesn't work then it probably bake it.

you wouldnt have the slightest clue about what i am talking about before you go commenting saying "max payne what a joke" the software i was posting about is completely irrelavant to max payne apart from the fact it comes as a package on the cd i was asking about rasmaker and maxED that is actually quite sophisiticated software and takes alot of time and knowledge to understand and programme you wouldnt even know the simplest form of wireframing or what a bolean is for a matter of fact or probably even how to install this software.so for the record at the end of it all you are the joke now i suggest you just stfu and keep your nose out of what your brains not capable of - vital lesson in life which you obviosly need to learn think before you speak you dumbass...oh and i wouldnt even bother with those stains cos a thick **** like you wouldnt be able to afford a decent chair anyway,so its probably not worth bothering with.

Pour a capful of hydrogen peroxide on it.. after it starts to get a little bubbly just press a clean rag on it .. that should soak up the blood. if you blow dried it.. that may have caused it to be even more permanent. I'm so sorry that happended to you. I have a suede couch and it's hard to keep clean. I use a soapy towel when I start to see dirt marks.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the shout would have worked only if you hadn't already dried it. Dried blood is much harder to remove. You can give it a try, but I doubt it will work....sorry.
