You could try moving your furniture around instead! Sorry only joking.

I would try calling the hair dye manufacturer - they usually have a 24 hour hotline # on the box or their website. I'm sure they've had this question before. I have used nail polish remover before to remove nail polish from carpet with no ill effect on the carpet, however I would test any type of removal method in an inconspicuous place on the carpet first. Good Luck!

if none of these work,,, and this is not wool, make a light solution of bleach and water. once you get the spots lighter than the carpet, neutralize the bleach with hydrogen peroxide. rinse it out and dry. now take ritt dye, you'll need blue and red, start with alittle drop of blue dye in some water in a cup then add a hair of red. the solution should be a very, very thin violet if it's right, almost clear. now apply to the tips of the fibers. blot with a dry terrycloth towel and check your work. if you can't get it to where you want it, call someone like me , a certified color repair tech.

carpet cleaner, diluted bleach or VERY strong nail varnish remover might work. but i very doubt if these do work, it will either leave a mark themselves i.e the bleach will turn the beige white and noticeable, and the nail varnish remover might turn the patch blue. so i don't think you can. EDIT- TO SINISTRA - cillit bang doesn't work, we've tried it and even my mum says it's a complete rip off.

At a store like Wall mart buy woolite cleaner sold in a spray can.shake it first then spray on carpet .let the white foamy spray soak for a few minutes .then use a clean towel scrub the area. you might need repeat the process a few times .this should remove the spots.
