Spots from cleaning leather jacket?!?
-
I have a brown finished leather jacket that I tried to clean and polish myself last night. First I used AppleGuard leather conditioner and applied it all over the jacket with a cloth. THen I took some Febreeze and sprayed the inside lining of the jacket to get rid of any odors. I look at my jacket today and notce that while the front of the jacket and the sleeves are fine, the back of the jacket has some weird circle marks, almost like water marks. I LOVE THIS JACKETS! Are the stains from the conditioner or maybe I sprayed too much febreeze on the inside lining and it was so much that it diffused into actual leather part of the jacket? Is there anyway to fix this without spending an arm and a leg to get the jacket sent out to get cleaned?????

Sounds like it's toast. Take it to a leather specialist and ask their advice.
