How do you get pen ink out of whites?

• somone left a pen in the washing machine and i dint see it but when i went to wash my whites the pen leaked all other them can you tell me how to get the ink out

  Biro is an oil base with a dye. I expect that the wash process has separated the oil from the dye and put the dye into the material. Some oil with still be there. The oil can be removed with almost any solvent. lighter fuel, turps etc. Normally this would be done carefully taking the dye with it but the dye is now in the material. Once the oil has gone you could try bleach. Oxyaction is quite a good Oxidising bleach but on whites you could use a reducing bleach such as domestos which is more effective but does more damage. I would not recommend taking to to a dry cleaner as he would have the same solution and less time to spend on the problem. To be frank I think that you either live with the stains or throw the stuff away and put it down to experience
