Why does my incense smell like smoke when I burn it?

Can incense really get the smell of smoke out of a room?

• So I have finals this week and I smoke to relieve stress. I have incense in my room (i've never used them to cover smoke just to make my room smell nice, but do they really cover the smell of smoke very well? I have two ex druggies for parents so they have to work super well.

  my wife uses some kind of candle when she's at a hotel because she really doesn't like the smell of smoke lingering. it's a distinct smell, and even if you smoke it can be unwarranted. but, she has told me that she's really impressed and it really works. so, look for it. it's a candle for that purpose. should be able to find them about anywhere that sells candles period
