How do i remove red wine stain from light-coloured clothes. I washed it after 3 hours and still can't remove

all you do is use white wine the on a red wine stain,dint you watch TV it showed you how to get red wine stains out of every thing.

try using a bleach pen (safe for colors) and if that doesnt work try soaking it for several hrs in dish soap water

There are some good ideas here but the easiest, if it is not silk or wool, is soaking in a solution of biological powder for 24 hours then wash in the washing machine on the appropriate cycle with fresh powder.

I once spilt red wine on a cream coloured fleece (it WAS fashionable at the time). It had dried, but even so, soaking in white wine overnight (just a cheap bottle) got the stain out. Good luck

Dab on white wine while red wine is still wet. Too late for you, but remember next time.

kerosene.my wife had red on white,took it to cleaners who got it out,they told us they used kerosene.hope you haven't dried it with heat or it will be set in.also do it from the inside out,going from the other direction pushes it more in the fabric

its probably too late for that item, but anytime you spill red wine, cover it in salt, you will probably go through quite a bit, but it works fabulously!!

You may have to put them in the "work clothes" pile, or try re-dyeing them in a different color. Wine is really hard to remove. If it's a small stain, can you put an applique or a patch over the top of it?
