Is it medically safe to keep a Chernobyl clean up medal?

My neighbor doesn't keep sink clean, uses same sos, turning black?

  • It's soo disgusting... my neighbor uses the same s.o.s sponge to clean sink and dishes and it turns yucky black, still uses it. i gave him a sponge with handle tha tyou put soup in and he leaves it in the sink.. it got BLACK YUCKY!!! he doesn't know how to keep his sink clean. leaving crumbs sitting on the countertop.. he hangs cloth and it turned black.. he is in a apartment building like me and he's right behind my wall and what shoudl i do?? he doesn't clean the floor either and he said he only cleans when we have yearly inspections. his microwave is a disaster... had millions of splattered stuff inside. he doesn't bother to clean that... it finally broke last year. he had to get a new one. I feel i dont want to go in his apt again and visit him. ... when he cleans his sink he doens't clean it good enough. he just leaves it in the sink. Not sure if it is health hazard for me. is it going to be a health concern if i'm in his apt.? what should I do?? not go in his apt again? bathroom is a disaster too eewww. i tried to tell him how to clean. and he cleans but not good enough and still leaves it yucky. he only clean every 2 months. i keep telling him he has to keep sink clean EVERYDAY. but he's not doing it. should I tell the landlord?

  • Answer:

If it is in the lease agreement that you must maintain a sanitary living space, then sure, you can tell the landlord. However, most leases do not specify how clean you must be. The only risk his filthy habits are to you is if you touch anything in his apartment. If you do not go into it, you will be fine. His indoor air is likely also pretty dirty, dusty, and mold filled, so just avoid it wholesale. Being obsessed with the cleaning habits of single men will almost always leave you feeling sick. ;)
