How to remove VANISH PEEN stain?

I forgot to read the direction on how to use this stain remover. After I use this in a shirt I didn't rinse it well, I'd just pour the runny water on it and let it dry. When its got dry I saw light yellow in a shirt and i im really sure beacuse of this Vanish Need to remove that stain. please help

My suggestion would be to brush some white vinegar into the stain and then re wash.
