How hard is it to get into universities abroad?

How hard is it to get into most universities?

• i did ok in high school (i slacked off my freshman and sophmore years, but did ok junior and good my senior year), i graduated in 2007, i took 2 years off to live my life, i want to go OUT OF STATE (and part of the reason i took 2 years off, is my mom wouldnt help support me if i went out of state until i did 2 years here first, and i sure as hell wasnt going in my home state) - so this past spring semester i enrolled in ONE class, to actually do something (and im doing good in it) well i FINALLY convinced my mom to help me and let me go out of state(if she didnt id go anyways at this rate), so i wanna get into a university as an undergraduate, i dont really want to go to community college (unless i absolutely have to). so how hard is it to get into them? im not applying to ivy league schools or anything like that, i know my chances are probably slim getting into them until i do community college(which i will then), but how hard is it to get into most of them? thanks, and ill pick a best answer as well!

  It depends on your high school gpa. You didn't mention that. However, it is going to be different for each school. You should probably just decide what you want to do, then look online at school websites. Then look at their requirements for admission. It will differ somewhat for each one. If you are not quite there, talk to them anyway to see if there is something you can do in Junior college, or a high school equivalent class (or 2) at the University to catch up. If it's just a few things that fell through, like perhaps math, then they might give you a math prerequisite and admit you.
