What Can I Use to Clean Faux Suede Boots?

How to clean suede boots? Bargain buy?

  • I'm about to buy a bargain pair of boots (superdry bushfire boots) like Ughs buyreviews say these last longer and are just as comfortable, they are suede on the outside and faux fleece inside. They are only £25 down from £100 because they need a bit of a clean up as they have a few marks on them just from use. I'd never normally buy second hand boots but I tried them on and it's like walking on a cloud! How do I clean? I know you can't put them jn the washer? Many thanks?

  • Answer:

Try holding them over steam and gently brushing with a suede brush.

suede is a bad material for footwear and almost impossible to clean, and the fuzz wears off

Believe it or not a pink eraser. I bought a used tan colored suede jacket for my uncle and rubbed a pink eraser all over. In about 40 minutes the coat was beautiful. You can do it while you watch t.v., just put something under the shoes when you are cleaning them.

try using a slightly damp clean wash cloth, and rub the boot....see if that works for you ...not sure, but trying to be helpful...... :)
