Medical marijuana question.?

• Hi, i have gotten into a car accident about a year ago. I was going 45 and hit a car that was stopped, and i wasn't wearing my seat belt. Needless to say, i am lucky to be alive. There was nothing really wrong with me, except a few VERY minor cuts on my hands from hitting the windshield, and a huge knot on my head from also hitting the windshield. While i was at the doctors, he had mentioned that in crashes like these, people usually have back problems. My back was fine for about 2 weeks. I have always smoked marijuana daily so it wasn't nothing new to me, and a few weeks after the crash, i would wake up "sober" and my back would be hurting me. It feels like I need to crack it really bad, but just stays like that, an annoying feeling in the middle of my back. This has been going on for about 7 months now. I live in Virginia so medical marijuana isn't legal (yet), but i am quite positive i would be entitled to a medical marijuana card if its legalized. Now my question: 1. I have a friend who lives in DC who has a card. I told him the story and he said i could probably get prescribed marijuana, and i asked him what do you mean, and he said something like, "maybe you would get 3 grams every week or 2, paid by your medical insurance." Is that actually possible? Would my medical coverage possibly pay for this type of medicine?

  Well actually if your problem was Extreme then it might be possible for you to carry medical weed around all 50 states but i think only 4 people in the country have this card. i recommend that if you really need it other then to get high then move to a state were is "decriminalized" not "legal"cause it will never be they make more money if they decriminalized it .........but anyways if you have been using it already before the crash then your motives aren't were they should be.
