Headaches from wearing spectacles?

• hi all.......one month back, I got my eye tested and found that I have +0.75 power.So, I started wearing spectacles(Fiber). But from the past week, I am experiencing terrible headaches at the back of my head and at the top of my head after wearing spectacles. I found out that if I don't wear spectacles, I wouldn't get any pain. Its only after wearing specs for more than half an hour, I would get headaches. Can someone please tell me why is this happening because I don't think my power has either decreased or increased. But I can say for sure that I have power because without wearing specs I can't make out clearly what is written on the Blackboard in the classroom. After wearing the specs it becomes crystal clear. So, the power has neither increased nor decreased. Please help me out because these headaches are spoiling my day both at the college and at home.

  This is a new RX. You have not worn glasses before right? Your brain has to get use to the fact that you need this RX. now. It can take a week or two of wearing them to start to feel normal with them on. Are these cheapy's from a pharmacy? The material of these types can be pretty bad sometimes and you could have distortion in them which would give you headaches as well. I would suggest investing in a pair made at an optical. The material used is much better and clearer!!! Either way though you'd have headaches at first. Wear them a couple weeks and see if it gets any better. If not then you might want a re-check by the dr. or get you some better glasses.
