How do you know if you have a hernia?

• OK so here's the deal...for over 2 months now my right testicle has been hurting. It's bearable, but it is constantly hurting. I went to emerg and of course at that moment it wasn't hurting, but the doctor said I had a sprain and gave me a prescription for some anti-bodies. I was suppose to take the pills every 12 hours with food, and that only lasted a couple of days. It's really hard for me to eat every 12 hours. So I only took about half the pills so far, My testicle is still sore as ever...it hurts the most when I am sitting in the bathtub or what I am doing right now...sitting at my computer. People say it could be kidney stones, but the emerg doctor tested my urine and didn't see anything. Could it be a hernia. I really want this pain to go away.

  a hernia will have your testicles enlarge if they fill larger than normal then you might have a hernia but if they dont look large or swollen then you might just spraind it.
