Why are my hands always cold?

I've always had cold hands and feet. Why is this so, and what can I do to change it?

  • I'm a generally healthy, young man. I don't smoke or have any apparent health conditions. I've always had cold hands and feet. I've been told that people with cold hands/feet have poor blood circulation. Is this really what causes cold extremities in healthy people? What can I do to make them warmer?

  • Answer:

This is because of less blood flowing to that area It's genetic and not every one has poor blood flow And no it's not a medical risk. a short fix would be moving toes, fingers, hands, feet a bunch. But you can also look for kye-ann (the hot spice Idk how to spell it) Tablets they are swallowable and increase circulation though out the body. It's a type of vitamin you could probably find at a drugstore.

You might have Raynaud's syndrome, which my sister has. She used to complain a lot that her hands and feet were cold all the time to. She doesn't have to really do anything special for it. Why don't you go consult your doctor? And look up the sydrome to see how much applies to you so you can have a better idea.

You probably are one of those people with a colder body temperature.. or make u just feel like ur hands and feet are cold . However, cold hands and feet are usually from low blood pressure. You should check this with a doctor. But if u feel cold. u can drink a cup of cocoa, and wear a sweater! and gloves too

I'm not sure but I ALWAYS have that problem too.especially in my feet! They are cold always.I heard that was true about bad circulation too.I'm healthy and it doesn't seem like my cold feet are effecting anything else so let's just hope we are okay and stay healthy!:D

yeah thats what i think it is. just get some thermal socks and thin under armor gloves. also exercise more, its good for your heart and your heart is the thing that pumps blood.

lol i have the same issue. its not big deal. if you want to manage it but some socks on and some gloves and you will be fine.

it's probably Renauds syndrome...you can't do anything about it, except keep your hands and feet as warm as possible. see a neurologist...

Chrys

its common because less blood flows there
