Why am I burping randomly so much on an empty stomach?

What could cause my daughter to throw up, have stomach pain, swelling, and hardness, and constant burping?

• The past month my 3 year old daughter just started burping ALOT. Then, a 2 days ago her stomach started swelling and she was saying her stomach was hurting on the right side. I looked at her stomach and it was very swollen and hard, then she started throwing up alot. She was still crying about the pain so I called an ambulence. They took a look at her and said her stomach was hard as a rock and took her to the ER. The ER was so full they didn't even look at her for an hour and by then the hardness had went away and the swelling was going down. She is still constantly belching. I called her dr and she said it was gas? I could see gas causing bloating but how could gas cause her to throw up and swell so much it looked like she was about to explode?

  take her back to the dr. i had the same problems shes having ,it was my gallbladder
