My hands and feet often feel numb, especially when exercising. Why is this?

If I am running my toes/feet will go numb after a while. I thought it might be my shoes but I have new shoes and the same problem. Sometimes I do yoga and when I am holding a pose my hands/feet will sometimes begin to tingle.

fingers and toes get numb/tingly when they don't get enough blood and oxygen pumping through. You may have poor circulation- which your regular Doctor can check out. But first here are some things you should check on your own: Are you drinking enough water? Eating enough throughout the day? Sleeping enough? too much stress? dizzy, short of breath, high heart rate, feeling faint? Over-exercising? All of those things can make your body tired and unable to circulate enough blood to your fingers and toes-- making them numb/tingly.
