What does mummification have to do with science?

Would you donate your body to science... for mummification?

  • Would anyone be willing to donate their body to science... for a study of mummification? They are going to film a documentary of scientific study of some one who is terminally ill and willing to have there body mummified. I have the details if you or someone you know would like more information [email protected]. Otherwise I just want to know what you think about it!

No, that is creepy, I don't like the idea of people messing about with my dead body. Also, it seems like there is a flaw in this whole idea - someone who is terminally ill has been through a lot of medical treatments that change their body and leave them full of chemicals, so the mummification results won't be applicable to the rest of the population. And, morally, this idea seems exploitative of someone who is in a very bad time in their life.
