I am feeling sharp pains in my stomach? Can anyone tell this what it might be?
-
Ok, I am a 21 year old guy. Healthy, at least I think until this started happening last night. Inbetween 5'9 and 5'8, and 136 - 140. Anyway, last night when I was in bed trying to get to sleep I kept feeling this sharp pains in my stomach. Just all over my stomach area. It lasted for about an hour until I went to sleep. All over my stomach. Pain at the top, then pain toward the bottom and it really hurt. Then it's been happening all throughout the day today. On a cale of 1 - 10, most of these painful sensation I am feeling are like a 5, but I have had a few that hurt like 10. When they hurt real bad, It almost feels like my mouth is numbing up and it feels like I am tasting blood, but it's just a lot of saliva building in my mouth. And the pain really takes over my entire stomach. I went to the doctor today and he said 'it could be anything from ulcer, perhaps stomach flu, and it may turn into diarrhea in the next couple of days.' doesn't seem right. I dont need to use the john!

Answer:
Sounds like constipation to me too♥do you drink enough water?? Don't laugh at me before you've gone and drunk 3 - 4 glasses of water, if that doesn't fix it then try the following tips ~ Perhaps you are deficient in Magnesium?? Magnesium is needed in the human body for helathy nerves and muscle functioning and for heart health. Magnesium rich foods will aide in eliminating constipation problems for you. Eat more foods rich in this wonderfull little mineral ie: leafy and green vegies, nuts and seeds, wholegrain breads and cereals and cold water fishes such as tuna, salmon, sardines and whiting. Magnesium is also known as the antistress mineral and will help you deal with stressy situations better. Magnesium will encourage the production of hydrochloric acid in your tummy and aide in digestion. Also, eat more foods rich in Vitamin C as vitamin C is a natural laxative ie: oranges, lemons and limes, leafy and green vegies, tomatoes, potatoes and red and green capsicums. Vitamin C rich foods will also bolster your immune system and help in lowering blood pressure too. Try to cut back on dehydrating drinks such as those containing caffeine ie: soft drinks and sodas, coffee, tea and also alcohol will dehydrate you...........for each can of soda or soft drink that you have your body can excrete up to 12 cups of water !! Caffeine is marginally better ~ for just one cup of coffee you need to replace it with 2 cups of water because the caffeine tricks our brains into thinking that we have ample water supply and encourages the body to urinate much needed fluid from our body!! The use of laxatives will only exaspperate your problem and will do a brilliant job of robbing you of your B complex of vitamins (which are essential for healthy digestive, neural and immune system functioning) and also your vitamin C supplies. Also take a good quality multi B complex supplement as the B group of vitamins is essential for healthy digestive, neural and immune system functioning. As they are a water soluble complex our bodies can neither store or produce them. As such we need to replace them on a daily basis or suffer from the stress related side affect. Drink more fresh filtered water too as the happiest and healthiest body will always be the most hydrated one. CHEERS ♥

perhaps it's constipation...sometime it may fill all your bowels and that can be pretty painful too...you should definitely get a second opinion maybe have some x-rays done to really see what's going on in there...if you get a really sharp pain in your lower right side make sure you get to the hospital immediately because it might be appendicitis and if it's that it needs to be found immediately if you wait it could be fatal
mixed up and confused
It is constipation! I use to get them all the time. The most painful is when the constipation is mixed with stress or anxiety. Dont worry about, just eat lots of fruits (and licorice) and relax. Soon, it will all pass... literally!!

you might be feeling a mild form of colic (if you are be careful what you eat) .....or constipation (eat lots of prunes and/or prune juice)(never any laxitives they might harm you more if it is colic)
