How do you get rid of hiccups?

How do you get rid of hiccups fast?!!?

  • I keep getting hiccups from laughing or drinking to fast! Does anyone know a fast and easy way to get rid of hiccups without standing on your head and making a BIG scene!? Thanks for your help!

    hold your breath for 10 seconds while drinking water or something that's liquid! my aunt told me and it worked so fast!!!

i always hold my breath or take a huge gulp of water. hiccups are annoying..i know :] but i hoped i help. omg creepy....just got the hiccups now!! :O

hold your breath and drink a cup of water at the same time it works for me

Try to avoid activity that causes you to gulp large quantities of air. By "gulping" air,(drinking, laughing) this irritates the diaphragm and thus causes hiccoughs (the original spelling). It is the spasms of the diaphragm that causes this annoying activity. Best of luck to you!

You know that soft space right below the back of your ears? under your earlobes? press down with 2 fingers and breath deeply for 1/2 a minute...around there. this works a lot-hope it works for you!

Fill up a cup of water to the top then drink from the far side of the glass...you'll probably spill water but your hiccups will go away!!!
