Has anyone been prescribed phentermine? And how did it work for you?

• I have struggled with my weight since I had my first son. Then I lose weight and get pregnant again. I just had my 3rd son which is 7 months old and losing weight is impossible. I have actually gained 16 pounds since I quit breast feeding. Last year before I was pregnant I lost 50 pounds with no help, just working out and eating smaller portions. This go round I have been eating healthier and eating less, so I decided to go to a local weight loss doctor. He prescribed phentermine 37.5 mg tablets which I am currently taking. After my first son I went to the same doctor and was prescribed 30mg capsules. I was losing weight but some months had to skip because of finances and eventually I quit going. I wanted to find out if anyone has tried both of these types of phentermines and which one worked best for them. I am only taking a half right now and it seems to be working pretty good. I've never had bad side effects from phentermine. This doctor does an ekg and sends you to an endocrinologist for a complete blood panel. I will find out the results of my blood work at the next visit. Again I am just curious which phentermine pill works best. Please post only if you are going to answer this questions. (no lectures please) I know appetite suppresants aren't the best thing but neither is being fat and right now I need to lose 87 pounds which puts me at risk for all kinds of trouble. Thanks.

  The yellow phentermine 30mg capsules and the blue Phentermine 30 mg capsules act the same. Blue Phentermine and Yellow Phentermine both have the same activistic component (i.e. Phentermine Hydrochloride). Both of these capsules are manufactured by Eon Labs. The blue/white variant is a nonproprietary for Fastin and the yellow is just a nonproprietary phentermine. As for the 15 mg capsules, they are plainly a glower dosage form of Phentermine that is factory-made by Eon Labs. The 37.5 mg Phentermine is a nonproprietary for Adipex-P that is factory-made by Purepac. The only dispute 'tween the marque name (Adipex-P, factory-made by Gate Pharma) and the nonproprietary is price. The ingredients are the same. The only real differences are the facet (color and pulverize vs. miserly pellets).
