Toilet water splashed in my face -- will I get sick from it?
-
I've been throwing up all night. It feels like I ate something bad. While throwing up, water from the toilet splashed in my face. It went in my eyes and nose. None went in my mouth. Will I get sick from this? Are there any diseases in toilet water?
-
Answer:
There are no disease in toilet water considering it is the same water that is used in your sink and shower, the inflow however is not filtered, if you use a well for example there may be traces of lead or mercury most of which has to be ingested to cause any harm to the body. You should for sure be safe, there is nothing super dangerous about the water in your toilet.
