How do I determine what ski size I am?

How does a woman determine her clothing size? By dress/skirt size or pants size?

  • You always hear women say " I'm a size 4" or I'm a size 8. What do you use to determine your actual size, dress or pants size? Dress size and pants size tend to be different.

  • Answer:

Dress and Pant sizes are different, but usually when a woman says her "size", it's her dress size. In order to determine your "size", measure bust, waist & hips...and most catalogs or websites have a conversion chart to tell you what your size equals.

Well I don't wear dresses so I go by my pants size.

It doesn't matter because sizes vary from label to label and vanity sizing is so rampant that women who should be wearing 10's fit into 6's. I see more dresses sized in terms of XS, S, M, L, XL, so I always use my pants size to answer that question.

you need to measure your waist size in inches and your hip size in inches and compare them. http://www.rodcollins.com/wordpress/what-dress-size-or-waist-size-am-i-really

they mean pants size, but that's a good question. I've never thought of that before.
