first of all Take a shower (not a bath) the night before. You want to be clean and nice smelling , , but dripping wet hair looks unattractive. Pick out a clean, flat shirt (complying with the school dress code, of course) and a nice pair of pants or a skirt. Don't wear baggy or super short bottoms, they look trashy. Keep them clean, and don't try the clothes on a million times. Lay out your socks and shoes, and don't wear a grungy pair of sneakers; make sure your shoes are clean. Socks aren't important, but make sure they go with your outfit and comply with school's dress code. Get dressed before your comb your hair. Then, run a good brush or comb through your hair several times until it looks neat and flat. Undo your braids, and lightly brush your hair if you would like it to be wavy or curly. Style your hair, being sure not to load on the gel. Go to school and introduce yourself! Don't be so nice that everyone thinks you are really weird. Don't wear too much much makeup. Be natural. Save the sparkles and eyeliner for parties and dances. Don't try too hard, especially if you're not prepared to look and act like you did on the first day for the rest of the year. omg ik totaly know wat u meen by preppy but unique. first you can wear a pair of white shorts liek not bermudas they arent cute. . . then go to liek abercrombie or hco and get a top thats either pink or blue or green, and then find one with decor goin up the side, and pair it with a jewlery of your choice and a cute toe ring if u wear flip-flops and a cute vera bradley coah or chanel bag.
