How to make my jeans into skinny jeans?

  • i have a couple of pairs of jeans i don't really wear anymore and i want to experiment with them, so i thought i could turn them into skinny jeans, but i'm not really sure how? do you have step-by-step instructions or a video from youtube or something? ok thx!

    Turn your jeans inside out Then wear them and pin the parts you want to cut off Or just draw a straight line down from the knee, so you can cut off the flare. Sew down this whole line, and be sure to double stitch the ends. Cut the excess material off. Leave at least half an inch from the seam so it doesn't rip. Turn the jeans right side out and your done.

hmm..sounds hard but as long as ur experimenting....cut from the bottom up the length of ur calf. cut right beside the seam. then on the side that doesnt have the seam on it, cut out the amount to make them snug around ur calf (u should be cutting out a slim triangle). then sew up the sides where the seam is and it wont be so noticable. good luck and i hope i helped.

It would be hard to do.. but I might suggest that you cut the bottom of your jeans and make it a tighter fit around your ankle. You may need to cut up part of the calf too, so it's a good fit. If all else fails, Pacsun has awesome skinny jeans.

a lot of my friends do this...i never have cuz i always buy them when i want skinny jeans...i don't even realy like them that much...but anyways... they usually just cut it a little like...a little material from the flare the long way...i don't think that made any sense...but they do that and then they sew it back together... either that or u can just pin it back but it'll be really bulky... i hope that made sense.

Throw them in the dryer. That will make them smaller and tighter so that they do become skinniy jeans.
