Is it hard to get into Elite Model Management?

Elite model management? (me modeling!)?

  • A week ago, a lady from elite model management saw me in a public place and i sent her photos and she said that she wants me to come to NY, and get my pictures taken and meet people, and they would review me, and see if i am right for it.     I just answered a question asking what agencies are looking for in a face. Your face is the answer. You have nice bone structure and symmetry. You should do well. If you aren't accepted by Elite keep trying with all the other top agencies. What ever you wear keep it plain and very simple. Black is fine unless it makes your face too pale. No makeup; hair pulled back and a great attitude. You need to have the hide of an elephant to be a model; or at least a lot of self-confidence. You'll be figuratively (and sometimes literally) poked, prodded and picked apart. If you're sensitive to criticism the process can destroy your self-image ... but only if you let it. Whatever happens, have fun with this and see where it takes you. I wish you tons of good luck. Hey, let us know what happens with a "do you think I'm going to make it" type question.

Im not a model, but have want to be!!!(im only 14, lol.) Im always listening to what they are saying on modeling shows, so I know a little. This is what they might suggest: If you have time, get rid of the tan lines....that might bug them. Have your hair pulled back and out of your face. Light to no makeup, id do a tinted moisturizer, and mascara, a shimmery(but light) blush, to make your cheek bones stand out, modeling agencys have a thing for cheek bones. Do something simple and chic. Tyra and Janice LOVE simple nice tanktops, nice jeans, and high heals, maby a long neclace or somethign, and like the first answer, maybee a simple black dress.
