Why do I have dizziness and fainting?

Fainting, Blackouts and dizziness?

• My friend is a male and years old hes had a problem for 3 years but has got worse in the last 3 months. When he stands up of sits down or is walking for a long amount of time he feels dizzy and hes 'eyes go black' - this only lasts for around 6 seconds he also gets a fluttery feeling in his heart? He needs to hold something when this happens to stop him from fainting. Some foods he used to be able to eat now makes him sick and he has a constant head ache all day but its not that bad but when the 'fainting feeling' comes on it gets worse and when hes using the computer or his phone. Any ideas what it could be? And ive now persuaded hm to go to the doctors. Thanks.

  As one of your answers has already said this could be seen it may be only blood pressure all these thing can give many symptoms, falling into the different categories from blood to diabetes. Even a trapped nerve you should definitely go to a doctor. The sooner the better. The longer you leave the problems worse things will end up being a major and full medical checkup where they need to take blood and send it for testing any of these problems could be something very simple, and the quicker it's sorted the better & everything could lead to just taking tablet's & this can take effect within a week or two, but the quicker the better for getting in the doctors is a must.
