Am I lactose intollerant?

Am I lactose intollerant?

  • I have been getting these extremly painful stomach aches w/diarrea to follow after I eat any kind of cheese. I have bought some lactose pills thinking that this would help if I am indeed lactose intollerant but the pills don't seem to help. also I only get these really bad stomach aches when I eat chesse not when I drink milk or consume any other dairy products. So am I lactose Intollerant? and if so the pills are not working what else can I do.. I even tried taking 2 pills instead of one and that still does not help..

  • Answer:

yes, you are lactos intollerant. some people cant eat a certain ingredient in cheese (like you), and it makes their stomach feel upset. i cant help stop it, but i prefer that you dont eat cheese, or the type of MILK IN CHEESE. i hope i helped!

it sounds more like an allergy to cheese but you should probably see a doctor to find out.

Doesn't sound like you're lactose intolerant. It might have something to do with the cheese (cheese ≠ milk). I would refrain from eating cheese for a while and then maybe try it again later. Start with those cheese for kids (the ones that come in slices for sandwiches) and move your way up to the more pure cheese.

if you were lactose intolerant, then you would be getting stomach cramps & diarrhea when you drink milk too. does it happen when you eat only a certain kind of cheese? maybe there's something in the type of cheese you're eating that you body doesn't like. or maybe you're just eating too much cheese - so it's like cheese overload on your intestines.

Hi It seems you don't have lactose intolerance because your stomach does not show any reaction to milk only your stomach is sensitive to cheese. Exactly I have a friend she has this problem with cheese . If you talk with MD it can be nice. Regards

Might be allergic to cheese or something in that cheese (not the milk), I'd check with your family physician.

I'm lactose intolerant and believe me you would have symptoms from mild and other dairy products not just cheese.

If it is just eating cheese, then I don't think that you are. Because lactose intollerant means all dairy products. You should go to the doctor.

theres something in cheese that makes u get these symtomes, not the milk. or its the chesse you buy, expl. chedder, ect.
