Does cocaine lose its potency and change in texture over time?

• *before I start, for any preachers out there that answer these questions like "your stupid" and "dont do this ****" and, but not limited to, "its bad for you; I want you to look at the website title again, which is yahoo answers, a place to go where you ask a question and hopefully get a thoughful, accurate, and to the point answer. I did not ask "is cocaine bad for you?" In my question. Any of these answers from these preachers (yes, you know who you are) will be immediately deleted, so don't waste your time and go put your answer where it actually fits. *for anybody who agrees with me, copy and paste the paragraph above into your drug related question. Ok, back to cocaine. I used to be a regular user and I have slown down recently. Today, in my house but not in my room, I found what seemed to be 2 small wrapped up baggies of cocaine. Each one was about a line. The problem was that I couldn't tell if it was cocaine 100%, but I was pretty sure because of the way it was packaged. I tried the numb gums test, and it just slightly numbed me, so I was gonna try it out, which was a challenged. Each line was completely hardedned when I found it, and when I broke it down, it was slightly pasty and stuck to my spoons and license easily. I was able to break it down pretty well, but not to the ideal complete powder state. Fiannly after much work, I did both the lines and did feel slightly different. I didn't feel different enough to rule out the placebo effect though, but I did receive some mild cocaine effects, such as the motivation to type all of this lol so this is why I asked if it loses its potency and change in texture over time; it was obviously very old and was kept in a small, zipped up bag in storage and I'm pretty sure its not mine from the past. Please somebody of a high knowledge of this subject help me out, because there's more and I want somethin out of it. Hah thanks. *get lost haterz*
