It most certainly can. An older friend of ours came to our house late one night. He was acting like he was drunk. He was confused, disoriented, and could not complete sentences. His eyes looked fine, but he certainly wasn't acting himself. When he started to urinate in our hallway, we knew something was definitely wrong. We called 911, against his will, and made him go to the ER. He is recovering slowly, although he is now 90% blind. If you even SUSPECT someone (including yourself) has had a stroke, or you just don't feel right in general, go to the nearest emergency room. Waiting causes all sorts of problems later (like blindness). Best of luck!

Yes my father in law was having a hard time seeing one day while driving to work and my mother in law was following him. She made him pull over because he was weaving all over the road. They went to the hospital and ran some tests and after telling him he had three different diseases and two weeks later they discovered he had a stroke.

Yes they certainly can.. people have strokes all the time and not know about it. They're mild, and don't cause as much damage but it's still important that if you're feeling weak afterwards to see a doctor. If you have a bad headache, and afterwards you're feeling a little weak or have any numbness that wasn't there before .. go to your doctor.. you're going to be more suceptible to a debiliatating stroke later on.

yup they are called TIA's they are mini strokes where u have little or no symptoms at all. they can be determined by cat scans or mri's. but they are dangerouse because eventually do lead up to a full blown stroke.

Yes you can. Just recently my mother had a office visit and found out that she had two(2) strokes and didn't even know it. She had no symptoms or indications that this had happened to her.
