Why is my old scar swelling?

3 years after surgery for Carple tunnel, my scar is swelling and it hurts! Any ideas on what might be wrong?

    swelling is usually a sign of infection, but i'm not a dr. and that doesn't seem normal. my mom has struggled with carple tunnel for 7 years so let me say," good luck and i'm sorry when u hurt."

Scar tissue can cause a person trouble. I suggest you see your doctor for an evaluation.

Call your Dr. It is inflamed for some reason. May be over use or may be nothing. Call the Dr to find out for sure.

Probably nothing more than scar tissue buildup. If that pursists have it checked out. Say, are you taking a lot of B-6? You need to be, that helps muscles and you have a lot right there. Good Luck. Merry Christmas
