Can I get on disability if I have Tourette's syndrome?

Is it possible to get partial disability for my carpal tunnel syndrome?

  • I live in the US. Just wondering since the more hours I work the more pain and numbness I have. So maybe I could work part-time and just get partial disability?

  • Answer:

Find a physician that will be willing to state that the repetitions of your work are the direct cause of your affliction and you just might have a case- the other problem would be if you can also get him to state that it will not improve with time

Child good luck on that. Your just talking about carpal tunnel syndrome. I know people that have heart problems, and all other kind of medical problems and it took them about 4 years to get their disability. I have carpal tunnel and I know that the government will not pay me for something like that. Especially if you haven't had any kind of surgery. So good luck once again.

Check with your manager; it comes down to the individual company's policy on said disability.
