What causes dizzy spells?

What causes dizzy spells and blurry vision and then it goes away?

  • I have had dizzy spells and feeling bad but once I start working or doing something I feel okay, thena few days later I get dizzy again.It only lasts for a few seconds .It started a few years back but is getting more frequent

  • Answer:

    Does this occur with standing or sudden change of position. I suspect orthostatic hypotension.

Well, I use to get that a lot. I would get it through out the whole day but only a few seconds at a time. I have had it for years, then it happened, I was diagnosed with Diabetes. It happens less and less now since I'm on medication and Insulin's now. It still comes back if I have too much sugars in my system. Well that is my story, anyways it could be a few things. You should check with your Doctor.

Is it happening more than once then consult a Doctor,probably your blood pressure is suddenly dropping which might cause dizzy spells.consult a doctor ,before that if this happens again,immediately drink this ,add 2-3 tsp sugar and 1\2 tsp salt to a glass of water .take 2 pillows elevate your foot with them.hope this helps.
