How to get rid of a lisp without speach therapy?

• i have a slight lisp... its not really bad but its bad enough for people to notice and point out. its the one where i cant pronounce my 's' sounds correctly. my tongue naturally goes slightly in between my teeth and i try putting it behind but it still doesnt sound right. maybe with more practice i'll get rid of it but does anyone know of any specific things i can do to help get rid of it? its getting pretty embarrassing now

  Try even putting your tongue right against the back of your bottom teeth. I also have an "s" lisp and I sing. So you could always hear it quite vibrantly when recording. It sure helped me, hope it helps you as well :)
