How do I eliminate leg fatigue while snowboarding(Leg Burn?

I had a pretty bad grass burn on my leg, looks infected, leg is beginning to swell. What should I do?

  • It's about 8 inches long down the side of my leg and 2 to 3 inches wide and from the burn down is beginning to swell. Including my ankle and foot. I've been treating it with neosporin, poroxide, and running alcohol and it seems that it might be healing kind of quickly but isn't helping the infection.

You're doing a good job tending to it, but this is definitely something that should be looked at by a professional in the medical field. The reality is that you probably have just a really bad grass burn, but it's smarter to have a doctor look at it just to be safe. If you have an Urgent Care facility near your house, that would be a great place to go, regardless of how long the wait there might be.

it sounds like u are taking great precautions, but it sounds bad too...keep up what u are doing until u see your doctor..which means..make an appointment asap or go to the emerg or walk in clinic if u have them there.

Have a friend/family member make a slit in it, and suck out all the ve--... oh no wait... thats for snake bites..... so nevermind. I have no idea.
